I read a book called "All About Chocolate" and it was very interesting; it told you how they prepared it. One thing that was super interesting is that chocolate did not look the same as our chocolate bars. They look nothing like chocolate bars, in fact they were beans. I think that the tree they grow on was a cacao tree.
The people who picked the beans would cut them open with a machete. Then they take out the beans then they fermented the beans. They would also shred them and then they would ship them to a chocolate company where they would make chocolate bars.
I hope you learned that chocolate doesn’t look the same as our normal chocolate bars. I bet they don’t taste the same.
